I've loved every Montana Mountain Men book that I have voraciously read previously and this was no difference。 My one and only complaint was that I wished for more of Teddy in the steam and other situations。Juni is beautiful， vivacious， curvy and genuinely a sweet baby sister to her two older brothers。 Her brothers dote on her and genuinely look out for her in all aspects of life even if they come off as overbearing and in charge。 Juni knows how to stand her ground even if she's quiet and contem I've loved every Montana Mountain Men book that I have voraciously read previously and this was no difference。 My one and only complaint was that I wished for more of Teddy in the steam and other situations。Juni is beautiful， vivacious， curvy and genuinely a sweet baby sister to her two older brothers。 Her brothers dote on her and genuinely look out for her in all aspects of life even if they come off as overbearing and in charge。 Juni knows how to stand her ground even if she's quiet and contemplative， she's always known the place that she holds in the universe and she's proud of it even if others might not view it in the same light。 She wonderfully fits in with the Barnett women in a way that makes their growing family expand by three virtually overnight and it's genuinely beautiful to watch。Teddy is ridiculous， even when he gets exactly what he's asking for it's like he puts the cart before the horse more often than not。 His mouth has a funny way or running away from him and getting into situations that he's not even aware of how to get out of。 And the beginning of this book and his first true interaction with Juni is a perfect example of this。 Thank goodness he has his brothers around him or he'd still be stumbling in the dark throughout the book。Teddy is just as confused about his reaction to the beautiful Juni as she is to him， but the eventually work it out even if it takes them a while to get there。 There's a bunch of up and downs that eventually lead to the end of the book， but I won't spoil it or how it ends up。 You'll just have to read it to really enjoy it。Not my favorite of the Mountain Men books but definitely a contender on one of those comfort reads that gets your brain right in the right space for a relaxing night。 Put this on your TBR， you won't be disappointed。I received an advance review copy for free， and I am leaving this review voluntarily。 。。。more

I absolutely love overprotective， possessive men in books， it’s my favorite thing。 However， this book just wasn’t it for me。 I just couldn’t get over Teddy and the way that he constantly didn’t listen to Juniper and her feelings。 This book definitely wasn’t it for me， but I recommend others to still try， you might end up really liking it！

Overall， I enjoyed the book。 If you've read the earlier 4 books you know what you are reading。 A man finds his one woman falls in love， and breaks all kinds of laws trying to get her to fall in love with him back。I had a few issues with Teddy which I'll talk more about in the spoilers below。 I liked the heroine but she is 20 years old and Teddy is 31。 The age difference bothered me。 I also don't know much about the heroine。 She works in the office and goes home。 She didn't seem to have any hobbi Overall， I enjoyed the book。 If you've read the earlier 4 books you know what you are reading。 A man finds his one woman falls in love， and breaks all kinds of laws trying to get her to fall in love with him back。I had a few issues with Teddy which I'll talk more about in the spoilers below。 I liked the heroine but she is 20 years old and Teddy is 31。 The age difference bothered me。 I also don't know much about the heroine。 She works in the office and goes home。 She didn't seem to have any hobbies。 Or do anything。 She goes out on girls' night with hero's sisters in law and makes friends with them。I thought this book was a second chance romance because Teddy thought he met his one in high school but he never talked to her or made a move。 She is now married with 2 kids。 Instead， the heroine is his "one"SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER Teddy thinks he doesn't have a "one" because she is married。 So he tells the heroine I want to f you。 But it'll be a one night deal。 Heroine immediately says no。 Hero is surprised。 He's never been turned down before。 Heroine is insulted and says she's not going to f a stranger。 He never recovered from that。 How did he get the heroine to go out with him？ He didn't。 He started working in the office with her and threw a barbecue to get her to come to his house。 The first time they have sex it's in a restaurant bathroom while she is on a date with another guy， that guy actually bothered to ask her out on a date。 Then he moves her into his house without asking。 He tells her brothers （she lives with her brothers） that he wants to surprise her so her brothers move all her stuff into Teddy's house。 She is upset but he convinces her with sex that they are basically living together anyway。Then Teddy says she needs to marry him this month or next month while they are having sex。 He didn't even propose， just said during sex we'll get married。 Heroine is upset and says what kind of story is that to tell my kids or friends？ You didn't even think about it or make the proposal special。They are having a fight because heroine doesn't want to take his last name。 So he tells her if he wants to change her mind he'll just have sex with her until she changes her mind。 So now she thinks she is like her mom and letting a man treat her badly。 She leaves and goes back to her brother's house。 Hero is sad and spends the night on the porch after she makes her brothers kick him out。 Eventually hero buys a nice ring and proposed on one knee so she has a story to tell。 He is also trying to get her pregnant。 They get married at the court house。 I just felt like he was so mean to her at the beginning of the book。 He never took her out on a date。 She deserved better。 Oh， and the hero makes a point of saying he likes to be in charge in the bedroom。 He doesn't want her to call him sir or anything like that but he wants to tie her up。 He daydreams about spanking her。Honestly I thought the brothers in the earlier books were more "in charge" in the bedroom。There was also a funny scene where one of the heroes from an earlier book has a 6 month old baby after tampering with the heroine's birth control so she would get pregnant。 He wants another baby and tells his wife。 She freaks out and she immediately calls her doctor to confirm the birth control shot she got in the doctor's office is still effective and the hero didn't convince the doctor to give her an empty shot， etc。 I felt the book suffered from the hero not realizing the heroine was his one。 I still enjoyed the book but I liked the earlier books more。 。。。more

I really need to stop reading these books because I dislike every single h except for one， but the h I did like I disliked her H。 Never ending cycle 😂Safety: OW - H did try to hook up with someone （after he met h） and felt disgusted/couldn’t get it up when OW touched him。 This part was super brief and didn’t bother me。 OM - OM asks h on a date but H continues to come around and allows h to go on a date with another man but only if they （H and h） have sex before she goes。

Great series！I love this series and this book is no exception！ Teddy is everything and has officially bumped Granger into third place。 Penn is still my number 1 but now Teddy is right after him。It was great seeing the characters from the other stories as well！ I love seeing the whole Barnett clan and catching up with them！

Liked！I liked this， but not as much as I loved Penn’s story。 I loved that Gemma named her character Juniper and I loved Juniper’s struggle with Teddy。 I think out of all the brothers， I kind of hoped Teddy was going to be slightly different。 Because he seemed the least willing to settle down in the other books。I could definitely understand Juniper’s concerns and I loved how protective her brothers were of her。 I’m waiting for the day that Gemma writes a girl who’s family doesn’t fall for the Bar Liked！I liked this， but not as much as I loved Penn’s story。 I loved that Gemma named her character Juniper and I loved Juniper’s struggle with Teddy。 I think out of all the brothers， I kind of hoped Teddy was going to be slightly different。 Because he seemed the least willing to settle down in the other books。I could definitely understand Juniper’s concerns and I loved how protective her brothers were of her。 I’m waiting for the day that Gemma writes a girl who’s family doesn’t fall for the Barnett charm LOL。 And I loved Juniper’s nickname of Treasure。I can’t wait for Bay and Cody’s books though。 My only pet peeve is run on sentences and grammar。 There were some editing mistakes in this， but Gemma knows I will always read her stuff regardless！！Congrats on your newest release！！！ 。。。more

all the build up was worth itSeeing how Teddy really is when we have only know him as the happy go lucky brother is amazing！ I loved that Cody and Bay were a bit more in this book， it has me anticipating theirs！！ Juniper is sweet and a little damaged， not as much as Alice but I love her feisty side！ So happy she can hold her own just like the other ladies。 Dear god I hope Nero and Buck get their own books， I’m already half in love with them both and I’m dying to know more about Oz！

That was a sublime read！ I’m a proud， card carrying feminist （and yes， I do carry a card in my wallet！） but the way the amazing Gemma can portray these characters shows that the women still have agency。 Teddy was a great character who showed so much more self-awareness than his brothers before him。 Only two brothers to go—can’t wait to see what comes next！ Also grateful to the colleague who put me onto these books in the first place！

4/5 Gemma Weir's Montana Mountain Men series is escapism on crack。 I got started reading these during quarantine and with the completely over-the-top plot lines and caveman attitudes， these books have been great stress-busters。 However， I lucked into an ARC of the latest in the series- 'Saved by the Mountain Man' which is Teddy's story and I was curious how his story would play out given the previous explanation of having found and lost his one。 I will admit that I think Gemma Weir did great in 4/5 Gemma Weir's Montana Mountain Men series is escapism on crack。 I got started reading these during quarantine and with the completely over-the-top plot lines and caveman attitudes， these books have been great stress-busters。 However， I lucked into an ARC of the latest in the series- 'Saved by the Mountain Man' which is Teddy's story and I was curious how his story would play out given the previous explanation of having found and lost his one。 I will admit that I think Gemma Weir did great in finding a new FL （and not trying to make the potential old love interest work） and Juniper， our heroine falls somewhere in the middle of the TSTL scale for me。 She *definitely* has a backbone and her questioning the premise of the series （what do you mean， love in first sight？！） is hilarious to see。 I actually appreciated the conflict at the end and its resolution。 I think Gemma Weir is doing an admirable job of trying to balance realism with escapism。 It makes sense to question the OTT behaviour。 The one thing I didn't particularly like is how in every new book， the female leads of the previous books are suddenly completely fine and accepting of this behaviour。 Feels like everyone is drinking the same dodgy kool-aid suddenly。 This isn't my favourite of the series （Granger takes the cake for me） but this was a great read！！ Thanks to the author for the ARC。 。。。more
